Meditation can help anyone to sustain their health. Whilst technology brings many benefits, the constant need to be online and contactable 24-7 is impacting our mental health in many ways which we are not even aware of yet.

Meditation is the process of calming the mind to a single reference point. It has been proven to calm certain parts of the brain so that the person is focused on the here and now and being present in the moment.

Meditating for just one minute can help you to feel calmer and back in control. Please try these one minute meditations during your day and see how you feel afterwards.

One Minute Meditations

Quiet Time

Finding five minutes of quiet time during your day can have huge benefits on how you are feeling. Make sure to schedule these time periods into your day and practise breathing in and out to the count of four.  

Sit in a comfortable position. Rest your hands in your lap. Place both feet on the floor. Gently close your eyes and take in a deep breath to a slow count of four ...... play this video to help.
